HOW TO CONTROL ANGER

                                                HOW TO CONTROL ANGER

The choices we make when angry can often come back to haunt us, but the cycle can be hard to break. Put your feelings into words, they will feel more tangible, and manageable, and can eventually help you work your way out the system of anger.

Sit and focus on what is right in your life, it will make what your're angry about seem more insignificant. Think about the person that made you angry. They may be dealing with some challenges, think about ways that they could use some empathy, and try your best to give it to them.

REMEMBER YOU CAN CONTROL YOUR ANGER AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO DO SO.

Start to count from 1-10 it will give you time to calm down. You will start to think more clearly, and overcome the impulse to lash out.

Anger is a healthy emotion. But it can cause your decision making to be off, damage relationships, and cause harm. Focus on solutions, rather than problems it will reduce the likelihood of an angry reaction.

      Different distractions you can use:

  • Take a shower
  • Dance to music
  • Write in your journal
  • Go walking
If you need an anger management program: Go for it-

Most anger management programs may involve 1-to-1 counseling and working in a small group. Sometimes it may be for months or just a weekend.
